At present, one of the main events for Fastlane pay-per-view is booked around The Shield. The most popular faction of the WWE Universe is reuniting for one last time, perhaps in a match. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will compete against Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre on the final PPV event prior to Wrestlemania 35. This has been quite an emotional ride for the trio which might end in a devastating way.
Apparently, there have been quite rumors going on speculation the opponent for Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 35. Future advertisements suggested that the current rivalries will remain intact and thus Baron Corbin will end up being the Big Dog’s competition at the ‘show of shows.’ This does not make sense since this particular lineup is not so strong.
Hence the speculations suggest of a huge swerve in store at Fastlane around none other than Dean Ambrose. He looked a bit hesitant while joining his buddies on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. So the chance is that the former WWE Champion will backstab his buddies during the tag team match. This. In turn, would set up a match against Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 35.
The two brothers battling out at the grandest stage of them all is the best option that the fans can ask for. This would also be a fresh matchup by all means. Speaking of Dean Ambrose, there have been a lot of rumors going on about his departure following Wrestlemania 35. Even Roman Reigns had stated the following on WWE TV,
“I have no clue what’s going on with him. I don’t know if he is coming and going, to what he’s doing. All I know is that he’s making headlines and I know I want one more moment with my brothers before we may not be around anymore.”
So booking Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose makes sense in order to prevent the latter one from leaving the WWE. Getting this huge match could give his string status back on the Raw roster. We will see whether he changes his mind once this match goes by and chooses to stay with the biggest pro-wrestling banner of the world.
