In a surprising set of altercations over the past few days, one of the prime figures from WWE’s female locker room might be intending to leave the company. Sasha Banks is the concerned name who boycotted this past edition of Monday Night Raw and is not looking forward to attending such WWE shows, at all. Apparently, she has also asked his WWE release which is now under consideration of the WWE officials.
As per the reports of Slice Wrestling, Sasha Banks was upset over WWE forcing her and Bayley dropping the women’s tag team championships at Wrestlemania 35. Her booking was worse anyways which makes her the only superstar who does not have a record of even a single solo successful championship defense. The same happened with the women’s tag titles bringing her into the boiling point.
Apparently, she started yelling at the creative heads at Wrestlemania 35 backstage area. The situation went volatile and some of the female locker room members tried to console her. But it was Dana Brooke who got hit by a backhand from Sasha Banks and suffered a busted lip. In an extremely unprofessional behavior, Banks and Bayley lied on the floor and continued complaining.
Thereafter, the four-time WWE Raw women’s champion decided to miss the flagship show. She also issued a statement on Twitter and canceled Wendy Williams TV appearance. More interestingly, she unfollowed WWE on Twitter and started following their rival brand All Elite Wrestling and their head honchos.
As of now, Slice Wrestling reported that there will be a meeting to determine whether Sasha Banks leaves WWE or not,
“Sasha Banks Has Requested Her Release From WWE And A Emergency Meeting At WWE Offices Is Taking Place To Figure Out A Way To Get Her To Stay. At The Moment Sasha Wants Nothing To Do With WWE And Would Like Out. We Will Keep You Updated On This Developing Story.”
