‘The Baddest woman on the planet’ has now confirmed that she indeed suffered a broken hand at Wrestlemania 35. During the historic main event match, she picked up the injury while trying to throw a table inside the ring. Later it got worsened while sending Charlotte through the table. Later, she had to undergo surgery to fix the issue.

Ronda Rousey then moved on to point out that the injured hand is not the main reason behind her hiatus from WWE. At this point, her priority in life is to become a mother leaving everything in the back. So, the pro-wrestling ring will not witness her comeback, in this year or even next year.

Speculations of Ronda Rousey going for a baby is roaming around the rumor mill for a long time, now. With the released video, she made her intentions official and thereby solidified the fact that we may not see her for the longest extent. In fact, her below comments indicated that she may not come back at all,

“As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first. I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby. I could look down at this beautiful child and be like ‘f*ck everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby.’ And you’ll never see me again.

Or, I could be like my mom, who she trained while she was eight months pregnant and then won the US Open six weeks after giving birth. Which was unbelievable. I don’t think I’m going to try and aspire to her level. But I’m just saying, you never know, I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m gonna feel in the future.” (H/T ProWrestlingSheet)

Well, all we can say is that Ronda Rousey was one of the prime attractions of Monday Night Raw for the past one year. The mainstream audience used to tune into the show to watch her which gave a boost to the Women’s Evolution. It will be a loss for the WWE Universe not seeing her around which may put the status of the female roster in stake. For now, we wish her all the best while intends to start a family.
