WWE will present the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event on July 14th which is one of the most exciting nights of the year. Most of the matches in this show take place under different capacity making it perhaps the most favorite gimmick based event of the year. If the latest reports are any indications, then we will be getting some big-time matches on that night.
Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will be the host of Extreme Rules which already started promoting the mage matches for the show. It is suggesting that the Universal Championship match will take place with an added stipulation alongside a brand new lineup for the WWE Championship.
Here are the matches being shown for the Extreme Rules PPV event,
– Triple Threat for the WWE Title: Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens vs. Kofi Kingston (c)
– Tables Match for the WWE Universal Title Baron Corbin vs. Seth Rollins (c)
– 1-on-2 Handicap Match: Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon and Elias
– Drew McIntyre vs. AJ Styles
Previously, the venue has listed matches like Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton, AJ Styles vs. Drew McIntyre. Baron Corbin vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship was there but it did not have a special capacity.
Apart from these big matches, Extreme Rules has been advertising more WWE superstars on July 14th. It has names like Smackdown Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan, Bobby Lashley, Raw & Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Braun Strowman and Sasha Banks.
We should note that Extreme Rules is going to be the final pay-per-view night before Summerslam 2019 on August 11th. Prior to that Money in the Bank will take place on May 19th. Following that WWE Super ShowDown returns on June 7th whereas first ever Stomping Grounds takes place on June 16th in Tacoma, Washington.
