WWE Raw witnessed a historic night where legends were all around the show to pull up the show’s ratings. None other than John Cena kicked off the night in his hometown of Tampa going old school. Rikishi accompanied Cena to gift us a fun segment before The Revival cut them off.
Numerous backstage segments were there featuring WWE Raw returnees but nothing was more interesting than those featured the 24/7 Championship. Pat Patterson was the first one to win it, backstage. Soon Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, Alundra Blayze, Twd Dibiasa won the title before Drake Maverick won it back. By the end of the night, R-Truth was the one to run away with title alongside Drake’s wife!
More legendary segments were there on WWE Raw where DX joined Seth Rollins to fend off The Club. Mick Foley appeared to cut a promo only to be attacked by The Fiend, Bray Wyatt. Finally, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Stone Cold Steve Austin joined the main event segment with all the returnees to ensure a grand closure to the show.
It’s always good to get the old school veterans back in the scene of WWE Raw who helped the show become what it is today. Last night was one such episode of the flagship show where WWE arranged the largest reunion in the history. Several legendary names from both men and women’s division were present on WWE Raw. The headlining names were Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair as well as D-Generation X’s Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Road Dogg, and X-Pac.
