Brock Lesnar was present on the post-Extreme Rules edition of WWE Raw for obvious reasons. He cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at the bygone pay-per-view event on July 14th to beat Seth Rollins and become the Universal Champion once again. So he showed up focussing on what could be waiting next for him.
It looked like that WWE did not go for any twisted plan for him for the time being. They simply booked him in a Wrestlemania rematch. Seth Rollins won an All-Star Top Rope Battle Royal to win the number one contender’s spot on WWE Raw. This confirmed that Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Title against Rollins at the Summerslam pay-per-view event.
So this was pretty much clear that we were going to see more of Brock Lesnar on WWE TV from now on which was not the case. The following week WWE Raw hosted a reunion special at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida which advertised the beast incarnate. But he did not show up on TV continuing his sporadic stint prior to Summerslam.
Even the recent reports suggested that Brock Lesnar was not present even at backstage. This forced Seth Rollins to feature in a segment with AJ Styles on WWE Raw as Ricochet was also not well to compete. The question remains when we may see the Universal Champion back in the scene. If the advertisements are any indications then we will get to see him on the very next episode of WWE Raw.
The host venue of the next episode of WWE Raw has now confirmed an appearance by WWE Universal Champion. They have revealed the same on Twitter handle to give a boost to ticket selling for the show. The July 29th episode will emanate from the Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas. Additionally, we have also received confirmations that Brock Lesnar will be present the next episode, as well.
The July 5th episode of WWE Raw has also enlisted The Conqueror in their advertisements. It will be the go-home show for Summerslam where an attendance seems must for the main-eventer. Perhaps we are going to see a confrontation between him and Rollins on the show. As confirmed on Twitter, the show hosted by the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will also see the marquee attention gracing the show.
