Breaking: Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan happening at Summerslam 2019

WWE created an interesting angle on this past edition of Smackdown Live involving Roman Reigns. He was about to issue a Summerslam challenge to the locker room during the finishing segments. Kayla Braxton was interviewing him to know more about it as ee was looking forward to a big match for the August 11th PPV event. But he could not make the announcement as a set of steel structure almost fell on him.

Roman Reigns was able to escape the scene partially but he was hurt indeed to set up an angle that must be culminating at Summerslam. The rumors are running rampant at this point who could be behind this attack whom WWE may announce as Reigns’ opponent for the next PPV. Initial speculation was that either Samoa Joe or Buddy Murphy would be the concerned attacker. But a recent report from wiped out the chances of the same.

Is this match happening at Summerslam?

The source revealed that Daniel Bryan could be the attacker to set up a match at Summerslam. The future advertisements of WWE programming indicate that a feud between him and Roman Reigns is coming up throughout the post-summer phase. Hence, it is likely that the begins the program at the biggest event of the summer,

“Reigns vs. Bryan (with Rowan) is being advertised for live events in the fall, including both RAW and SmackDown television tapings at Madison Square Garden in early September, as well as the upcoming WWE live event at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ on September 28th.”

Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns has featured in a rivalry back in 2015. They had a match at the inaugural Fastlane pay-per-view which Reigns won to compete in the main event against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31. This time around, the feud is supposed to be a lengthy one as we can expect a number of matches between them in weeks to come.
