Randy Orton is one of the bonafide future Hall of Famers that WWE active roster possesses. This man has done it all during his career that an accomplished pro-wrestler can possibly claim. This makes a star performer for whom the wrestling promoters can chase with blank paychecks. Using this, the Viper is making headlines around the pro-wrestling circuit for the past few days.

He posted a picture on Instagram to tease jumping ship to All Elite Wrestling leaving the WWE. The current AEW world champion even responded to the post fuelling up the rumors, even more. The current news is that the WWE contract of Randy Orton is coming to an end in 2020. So he is likely to be playing around with both WWE and AEW so to ask a lucrative deal from them.

Meanwhile, Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided an update on his current deal stating he’s already getting $3 million per year through this. The exact earning might be much higher since there are merchandise royalty benefits and the huge additional paychecks for performing in Saudi Arabia shows.

He signed the past contract with WWE for over a decade ago for the next 10 years. It’s finally coming to an end, next year which may leave him in a place where he can choose from the available options. At the age of 39, this is going to be the final contact of his career as an active in-ring performer and he is likely to be claiming a lucrative deal. Here’s more from the source,

“In the end, for someone like Orton, who is believed to be making in the $3 million per year range, and doesn’t work a full house show schedule, WWE is probably the better place. At 39, he may be able to get an even lesser schedule. Whether he’s the right mix for AEW is a question but next year you’d think they’d be looking for a big pick up and Orton would fit that bill, there’s the question if they want to spend at that level for a new guy.”

WWE still is a favorable option for Randy Orton considering he has spent the entire wrestling career in this company. He already gets to work in a much lighter schedule in comparison to his co-workers. If the facilities will be the same then Vince McMahon can certainly keep this man within his company.
